Group Courses

Russian Group Courses are designed for people who would like to learn Russian in a friendly atmosphere and interact with other people.

  

Our group courses are designed for adults and youngsters aged 16 plus. Our teachers are all highly educated and have great experience in teaching Russian. The groups are very small with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 students which makes it a very intensive and personalized learning experience.

 

Our interactive method of teaching is based on learning by practicing the language as much as possible, therefore, speaking and actively using the language is central to our approach.

Course Programme

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Introduce yourself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details
  • Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type
  • Talk about yourself including:- where you come from, profession, interests and hobbies
  • Describe yourself and people around you
  • Interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help

Teaching methods:

Our communicative methodology consists in helping the student develop certain skills and abilities: oral interaction and expression, hearing and reading comprehension, and writing expression. In each class students practise their Russian in contextualized, practical and real communicative situations through activities (such as games, songs, videos) with predefined goals.

Throughout the course students have the opportunity to learn more about the rich cultural heritage and history of Russia
