Course objectives
Polish for Upper-Beginners is designed for those who have some previous knowledge of Polish (after around 30 hrs of a course).
It covers the basic grammar structures and introduces basic vocabulary necessary in everyday situations. It also presents a summarised introduction to Polish culture, traditions and Poland as it is today.
The course is based on the textbook "Krok po kroku" and easily carries communicating methods into effect so students speak more and more fluently every lesson.
Course Content
The students after this course will know how to express in Polish the following notions and functions:

talking about present, past and future;
expressing wishes;
asking for and giving directions;
expressing spatial relations;
giving ones opinion and explaining the reasons for it;
asking for and giving information;
expressing likes and dislikes;
talking about one's plans,
shopping, making a phonecall, traveling;
The set of notions and functions will be taught and practiced within the following subjects:
Plans – geography – cities – sightseeing and monuments – holidays (railway station, airport, hotel, camping, travel agency) – shops - means of transport – days of the week - months and seasons of the year
