Weekend English Language Courses
"English language training" are intensive weekend courses for people living and working in London, who usually (but not always) have some sort of vocabulary, but lack fluency and any knowledge of grammar. They last for 8 weeks (3hrs on Saturday and 3hrs on Sunday). Our courses aim to break fear barriers and to ease students' adjustment to new working relationships in the UK. After a typical course at Polword students are able to deal freely with everyday situations, eg.: at work, in a bank, using public transport, renting accommodation, arranging and attending a job interview etc. Our courses attract students of quite a varied age range. As a result we try to adopt different approaches, methods and techniques. We believe that age does not matter - what matters is motivation and willingness to learn English. We usually run small groups up to 8 students and all our teachers are highly qualified. They are all well educated, experienced and passionate about the language. We are located in the centre of London to ensure our students easy access to the school. We also offer individual language tutoring for a very reasonable price.
ENGLISH FOR NURSES
"The English Language Course for Nurses" is for foreign nurses and health care workers who have yet to reach the required level in English Language for entry into the nursing profession in the UK.
