What are Funtional Skills?

Functional Skills are a government project. The aim of this project is to enhance the qualifications of learners. These is a set of qualifications appropriate for anyone who would like to develop English language or Mathematics skills. This project provides learners with practical skills which are essential in everyday life, education and work. Functional Skills are available in five levels which are as follows:

Entry Level 1

These level will be appropriate for people who would like to start with the basic language. These course will also help you with solving simple problems. For instance, you will be able to call a bank to change your address details.

Entry Level 2

These level might be perfect for learners who has already done Entry level 1 and has some basic background knowledge. These course will help you with solving more varied problems.

Entry level 3

Entry level 3 is the course designed for learners who has already done entry level 1 & 2 and feel that they need more practice and help before starting more advanced Level 1.
